"The Little Church in the Woods"
We welcome you to St. Joachim Church to experience the caring, enthusiastic warmth of our parish family. We worship and praise our Lord Jesus Christ by devoting ourselves to being good stewards and disciples of God.
Children are always welcome to our celebrations of the word of God. We offer a special Children's Liturgy each Sunday at 10:30 am mass.
We invite visitors to register in our parish by calling the office or filling out the registration form in the office lobby.
Dear Friends, If you know of a family or individuals in need of food items, or if you are in need yourself, please call the office at (504) 341-9226 to make an appointment to pick up food items from our food pantry.
Our pantry will be open on Thursdays from 12:30 - 1:30 pm. If you call us ahead of time, we can prepare a basket with the most beneficial items for your household.
We are also in need of non-perishable items, specifically white and brown rice, boxed sides, Pedialyte and baby food, canned meats, and broth/stocks. If you can donate any of these items, please call our office to schedule a time when our ministry leader will be available. Thank you for all that you do to help your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ!
