The Altar Society at St. Joachim is an important part of maintaining the sanctity of the Altar in preparation for the Celebration of the Eucharist.

Mission Statement:

"This group is responsible for keeping the Church and Sanctuary decorated for the different seasons and special occasions. "

Sone of the things that are done:

• Change the decor of the Church to match the season
• Wash the communion cloths
• Decorate the Altar and Church for the different seasons, such as Christmas, Advent, Easter, etc.
• Order flowers when needed
• Check Altar cloths and change if needed
