The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is the process by which those from different faith backgrounds and/or Christian traditions enter the Catholic Church.  

It is a significant period of a person's faith journey marked by personal discernment of God's call in their lives, prayer, formation, learning about the Church and her Tradition, and experiencing the Body of Christ in the form of a parish's RCIA team and the entire parish community that welcomes these newly initiated brothers and sisters into their family of faith through the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and First Eucharist) at the Easter Vigil or Pentecost. 

We hope to provide the most up-to-date and relevant materials to help you if you feel called to this journey at St. Joachim Catholic Church, whether to complete your Sacraments of Initiation, profess your belief in Jesus Christ as a Catholic, fully convert to Christianity, or desire to assist those who seek as a member of St. Joachim's RCIA team.
