St. Joachim's Annual Fundraiser Dinner will take place on October 11th at the Visitation of Our Lady Gym in Marrero, LA.

All ages are welcome to enjoy a night of food, fun, music, and prizes as we come together to honor our parishioners and donors. All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the St. Joachim Renovation and Rejuvenation Project. The goal of the project is to expand the areas around our beautiful center of worship to accommodate the needs of our growing community.

Thanks to our generous donors, our annual fundraiser dinner in 2016, provided us with the means to complete the renovations of our community life center into a true palace of God! The parish community enjoys the beauty and sanctity of their new place of worship and has helped build a tight-knit community, who together sing and praise God with abundance. With the new church, came new parishioners and the need is now to renovate the existing areas around the church, to increase space, allowing us to come together in fellowship. The increased space will allow us to accommodate our small children’s worship, CCD, Confirmation and RCIA class in a comfortable environment that is functional and encourages learning, while strengthening community. It will also improve our office efficiency with the addition of personal office space.
