Dr. Susan Weyer is a secular discalced Carmelite, formerly known as a Third Order Carmelite. She is fully professed in this Canonical Carmelite order with over 6 years of formation in the Order. She is also appointed by the Provincial delegate (a Carmelite Friar) and is the President of the Provincial Council for the Secular Order as the Formation Director of our New Orleans community in 2017. Since that time she has been teaching aspiring members of the community during the 6 years of their formation as they work toward final profession; studying the works of the Carmelite saints and related documents of the Church and catechism.
