On August 13th at 6:30 pm, special guest Matt Rousso will speak at the Pastoral Council meeting about how parish ministries can work to support the mission of Jesus. All parishioners are invited to attend this special session to increase our understanding of how we can be part of Christ's Mission in our parish. This special event will help us prepare for the upcoming Mission Sunday in October. 

Pope Francis has declared October as the Extraordinary Month of Mission and entitles his Message “Baptized and Sent: The Church of Christ on Mission in the World.” Mr. Rousso will show an 8 minute video about this Month of Mission –  presentation will “flesh out” this theme: 

“By our baptism we are called to be missionary-disciples; that is, the join with Jesus in proclaiming by the witness of our lives and by the words we speak that God loves us unconditionally. Believing this incredible Good News of Jesus is the source of great joy.”​
