Every year St. Joachim provides Thanksgiving baskets to needy families within our parish community. This year we would like to give out 30 baskets. We are asking our parishioners to call our office to endorse a family you may know that is in need of help for the holiday. Please call our office with all the information needed for the family.

Donations of non-perishable items will be accepted through November 25th. Perishable items, such as turkeys, hams, and vegetables will be collected on November 25th. If you would like to give monetarily, please include in the memo of your check “for Thanksgiving baskets” or use the online giving link here.

 Some ideas for nonperishable items:

• Canned fruit/mixed fruit
• Canned vegetables
• Cranberry sauce
• Mashed potatoes
• Stuffing mix
• Mac and Cheese
• Muffin/Biscuit mix
• Cornbread mix
• Dry gravy packets
• Broth/Stock
• Juices and Drinks
